PRODUCT MANAGER (ORACLE FUSION) – REMOTE / EDINBURGH

Loriens client requires the skills and experience of a Product Manager with experience of Oracle Fusion.

The successful candidate will join a newly created hub who will take ownership of the Oracle platform once it goes live in the coming months. They will provide continued support, and development as well as managing all Oracle updates and product backlogs.

The specific focus of this position will be on:
Getting our client ready for taking on ownership of Oracle updates (monthly and quarterly) from October 2024, working closely with 3rd party suppliers and internal areas to finalise processes and roles and responsibilities.

Gaining an understand our Oracle Cloud configuration
Leading elements of the product backlog review – categorising and working with a multi-disciplinary team to prioritise and prepare a delivery plan.
Quarterly updates – work with third parties.

Essential Experience/Skills
Experience working in a technology environment with an understanding of a wide range of topics such as:
Architecture / Applications / integration challenges / SaaS solutions / change management and managing IT platforms / products in a constant iterative improvement / development environment.
Experience of prioritisation and estimation techniques for effective management of product backlogs.
A successful track record of managing internal and external ICT delivery partners through system development lifecycles to deliver effective IT solutions that meet user’s needs.
Demonstrable experience of product management (as per the DDaT Capability Framework), defining, building and managing platforms.
Experience of working with Oracle Fusion or EPM, and having an understanding of Oracle update processes.
