Product Manager – Cable Protection Systems

Russell James Recruitment is recruiting a Product Manager for a global leader in electrification, based at their site near Coleshill, Birmingham. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of well-established cable protection and flexible conduit brands and be accountable for their long-term, profitable growth.

The role

You will manage these offerings across their full lifecycle – development, launch, go-to-market, pricing, maintenance and end-of-life – making sure they keep pace with market needs and the business line strategy.

What you'll do

* Lead market intelligence and competitor analysis to spot gaps and new opportunities in the portfolio

* Own the technical and market specification for each offer and build the business plan and roadmap

* Run the offer lifecycle process, set and track performance metrics, and make calls on obsolescence

* Set targets, monitor costs and work with Supply Chain, Engineering and Production to stay competitive and profitable

What you'll bring

* 5+ years' Product Management experience

* A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related electrical installation discipline

* A real enthusiasm for new product development and market expansion

The package

Salary up to £70,000 plus 10% bonus and a strong benefits package, with genuine room to grow your career within a global business.
