You’ll report to our experienced CMO Jamie Jaggard, owning the SEO product and function, working closely with Product Management and Development as well as experts across marketing and the wider business. Managing visibility in core search results, the Google for Jobs widget and other relevant organic search environments to drive organic traffic, job applications and revenue across 19 international markets.
Taking control of technical SEO, managing our high turnover of listing content as well as rich content generation for engagement and outreach.
Getting stuck into complex data sets - internal and external - to assess market opportunities, competitor performance and our own progress.
Scope and prioritise scalable technical and content initiatives that surface core revenue generating content, which you’ll implement with developers
Develop strategies to enable Adzuna’s authority to growth through link acquisition at scale.
Work with in-house and freelance resources to produce editorial content and drive organic link-building efforts.
When appropriate, recruit, manage, train and motivate SEO interns/freelancers

Experience
You have at least 5 years SEO experience and at least 3 working on very large sites with extensive product or listing catalogues for multinational businesses, ideally in-house or at an agency where this represents your primary hands-on client.
You have a proven ability to exceed ambitious traffic and conversion targets through SEO.
You have done extensive evaluation of detailed log data, competitor data, ranking data and web analytics for many years.
You are comfortable working with platforms that have become complex with age and require creativity and collaborative relationships to deliver results.
Experience sourcing freelancers and maximising the value you get from them.
You have used CMSs such as Wordpress to create nimble content generation.
