Product Owner

Product Owner - Software House - Birmingham (Hybrid/Flexible - 1 day a week in the office)
Salary to 50k plus excellent benefits including; Life Assurance, Bonus, Private Medical Cover, generous pension

This innovative Software House are looking to add a Product Owner to join their fast-paced, collaborative software team in Birmingham, West Midlands.
As a key link between stakeholders and developers, the Product Owner will drive product success by shaping features, refining user stories, and delivering real value to users.

Core responsibilities:

• Translate product vision into actionable user stories and tickets
• Balance commercial goals with technical feasibility and user needs
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI, developers, QA, and delivery leads
• Attend customer meetings, gather feedback, and influence the roadmap
• Create technical documentation and support UAT and release testing
• Ensure everything aligns with our product roadmap and strategic goals

Core experience for this Product role:

• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Specialist
• Confident mocking up interfaces and mapping user journeys
• Strong grasp of UI/UX best practices and user-centric design
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret raw data into insights
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with end-to-end software testing from a user perspective
• Ability to create clear, concise, and actionable tickets
• Any previous experience as developer would be advantageous
