Role Description:
The global product function leads on the product strategy to fulfil our client needs, in close alignment with markets and owns the overall development roadmap across functions. Kantar Media is a global leader in media research. This includes audience measurement - reporting all viewing on all platforms, consumer profiling and targeting with TGI, and in-depth advertising intelligence. Our versatility, scale, technology, and expertise enable our teams to understand the changing media landscape and drive growth for our clients.

Role Responsibilities:
The Product Owner (PO) of the Scale team leads and owns the development and performance of the processing and methodology for using large scale behavioral dataset to report on viewing behaviour, and where applicable combining panel data with large scale behavioural data, throughout its entire lifecycle: analysis, monitoring, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Core Remit:
Support the shaping of the product strategy for our scale products, current and future.
Support business opportunities with scoping
Lead and support a cross-functional team looking after the area of RPD/Scale projects.
Roadmap for deployment
Roadmap for development: All RPD and Scale projects, including:
RPD Atria data processing software for Numeris
Fusion software re-code program
RPD capping and PIV algorithms.
1st party data. Enhancement machine learning

The PO is a member of the Product Team, that will join the Agile Team, as the one responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program/solution priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Support the shaping of the product strategy for our scale products, current and future.
Owns the Team Backlog, provides prioritization.
Take the lead of agile teams as the Product Owner
Preparation and participation in the Sprint plan. Defines iterations (releases), defines User Stories (create requirements) and refines/updates the team backlog. During the Sprint planning the PO provides the necessary clarifications to assist the team with their story estimates and sequencing
Track the release progress collaborating closely with the Agile Team, ensuring that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
Support the development squad teams to rebalance effort between user story development and defect/ticket resolution, daily.
Support the development of and the execution of acceptance tests based on acceptance criteria, coordinating all test activities, and ensuring that each story meets acceptance criteria.
Analyse and report delivery, progress, risks, and opportunities.
Ensure that the technical debt is properly managed, with the support of SW Architecture leads.
Coordinates dependencies with other POs
Contributes to the Product vision/strategy and Roadmap.
Understand, challenge, and communicate the product vision/strategy developed by Product management to the Agile development team and feedback to Product Management
Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog that relates to the solution backlog owned by the Product Manager, according to business value or ROI.
Build Product Documentation

Your profile and key skills we are looking for.
Established background in developing, launching software or services in partnership with engineering and data science teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles.
Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills and functional understanding of customer business processes
Have strong communication and leadership skills to navigate in a dynamic/global organization across multiple countries.
Teamwork and team-player
Knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies, Product Owner certification or similar is a plus.
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Capable to collect, interpret and translate data to support product and business decisions (incl. A/B testing, User Testing, Analytics, Market Research, Competitor Analysis, Defining Metrics and KPIs)
Attention to details.
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Are highly proficient in spoken and written English (we are an international team), other languages are a plus.

Qualifications & Knowledge
Experience in the audience measurement business
Experience with Agile and possibly SAFe frameworks for software development
Experience working with agile teams and aligning with stakeholders to deliver with fast time-to-market, quality, and ownership.
Experience in data science techniques, statistics, analysis, and visualization of data is always nice to have.
