Role: Product Quality Assurance Coordinator

Location: Chichester

Salary: £37,500

Our client is looking for a Product Quality Assurance Co-ordinator who will work closely with multiple departments to ensure product quality, stock accuracy, traceability, and compliance throughout the supply chain.

Responsibilities include:

Manage stock control processes to minimise waste and maximise customer satisfaction.
Allocate stock to customer orders based on availability, quality, and priority.
Coordinate stock distribution with production, warehouse, and labelling teams.
Conduct inspections and quality assessments of incoming raw materials.
Monitor product appearance, packaging, labelling accuracy, and weights.
Investigate quality concerns and support corrective and preventative actions.
Maintain accurate quality assurance and stock records.
Verify compliance with customer specifications, food safety requirements, and industry standards.
Support product sampling, shelf-life management, and quality reporting activities.
Carry out routine verification checks on equipment and processes.

Skills and experience:

Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within the fresh produce or food manufacturing sector.
Food Safety Level 2 certification.
Good knowledge of food safety, quality, and retail standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.
