Job Description - Product Support Technician

EAC are representing a Market Leading Organisation who are on the lookout for a Product Support Technician to join a growing and innovative technical business, in Milton Keynes. This varied, hands-on role will see you supporting multiple areas across the company, from equipment servicing and stock management to technical support and field installations.

This is a fantastic role for someone with an engineering mindset, a willingness to learn, and the flexibility to get involved in many different areas of the business. No two days are the same, and your contributions will have a real impact across the team.

On Offer for Product Support Technician:

  • Salary £24,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
  • Monday - Friday hours (37.5 hr week)
  • 25 days annual leave (plus Bank Holiday's)
  • Training & Development
  • Must Drive: Occasional Site Visits

Duties for Product Support Technician:

  • You will be primarily involved in service delivery — including managing equipment hire, stock control, goods handling, and customer support.
  • Assist with hardware assembly, testing and repairs, and play a key role in deploying technical equipment on customer sites.
  • Communicating with customers to understand and record hire requirements

  • Preparing, packing, and dispatching equipment for hire, sales, and calibration

  • Receiving and checking incoming goods from customers and suppliers

  • Monitoring stock levels and processing relevant documentation

  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in instrumentation

  • Assembling and wiring up electronic systems, both small-scale and for larger customer platforms

  • Installing systems on customer sites as needed

Ideal Product Support Technician:

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

  • Interest or background in engineering, with hands-on experience in hardware and/or software

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for installations

  • Enthusiastic learner with a "can-do" attitude and a desire to contribute across the business

  • Previous experience in a technical support or engineering environment

  • BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in a technical or numerate subject
