We are working with a long standing client of ours based in Wythenshawe who are experts in the aviation industry and are looking for soft furnishing administrator.

The Job

* To provide proactive administrative support to a busy production department.

* To be able to assist customers with their queries, stock enquiries, orders and

deliveries remaining courteous and efficient at all times.

* To raise job packs – Use of ERP database to raise job packs and all associated paperwork for both seat cover and curtain departments.

* To accurately raise purchase orders – Controlling of stock and raising of purchase orders via in-house systems under the direction of the Production Manager.

* To accurately dispatch all seat covers and curtains, liaising with stores to ensure all orders are dispatched on time.

* To accurately maintain good stock control – batching in and out all materials/components. Work with Production Manager to provide accurate stock information.

* To accurately complete all invoicing requirements.

* To issue accurate paperwork for all work going to sub-contractors via the in house systems, including offshore work.

* To check stock availability for all fabric and components, liaising and instructing production Stores staff when required.

About you

* To be self-motivated and able to use own initiative.

* To have excellent interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written

* Must have a friendly, approachable manner.

* A flexible approach to their work load

* A conscientious person who takes pride in their work

* Be able to demonstrate excellent administration and organisational skills.

* Previous knowledge of import and export production procedures would be beneficial.

* An excellent knowledge of Microsoft products plus full understanding of the Syteline system in relations to SF.
