• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands effectively.
• Monitor material requirements and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
• Track inventory levels and ensure stock availability aligns with production needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production and supply chain challenges.
• Generate and analyse reports to optimise production and material planning processes.
• Identify potential risks in the production schedule and propose solutions proactively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the production environment.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement and supply chain department.

Profile

A successful Production & Materials Planner should have:

• Previous experience in production planning/scheduling
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using planning tools (ERP/MRP)
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.

Job Offer

• Annual salary of £36,000 - £40,000 per annum
