Production Assembly Operative

Abatec are currently recruiting for a Production Assembly Operative for a well-established company operating in the remanufacturing sector based in Weston-super-Mare. The company is known for producing high-quality, reliable products, supporting both trade and retail customers.

This Production Assembly Operative is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with experience or a strong interest in engineering, assembly, or manufacturing. You will play a key part in the production process, assembling components, working from technical drawings, and maintaining high quality standards throughout all stages of production.

What's in it for you?

* Full time role

* Monday - Friday, 3-day weekend every 2 weeks!

* No weekends!

* Pay from £14 per hour - £16 per hour

* Weekly pay, every Friday

* Overtime available for additional earnings

Key Responsibilities of Production Assembly Operative:

* Carry out assembly using technical and engineering drawings

* Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

* Follow work instructions and production schedules

* Perform inspection, testing, and quality control tasks

* Adhere to all health and safety procedures in a workshop environment

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or engineering setting

* Previous experience working as a Mechanical Assembly or Production Operative

* Ability to read and work from technical drawings

* Skilled in the use of basic hand and power tools

* Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship

* Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
