Production Controller

Our client seeks a Production Controller who will take responsibility for aligning supply capability to demand requirements for products handled by the manufacturing site on the outskirts of Sheffield

Main Duties

• Working closely with production team to effectively schedule work through the facility aligned with customer requirements and capacity planning, ensuring that all materials required for build are available.
• Helping to prioritise and plan the factory workload, including the planning of jobs and forecasting of raw material supplies
• Taking responsibility for the management, forecasting, and reporting of inventory metrics for the Eckington site, including management of Excess and Obsolete stock.
• Management of system data, engineering change notices and bill of material updates, working closely with the engineering team.

Skills and Knowledge

• Previous experience working in a Manufacturing Planning/Master Data Role
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
• Experience of working on an ERP / MRP system
• Can analyse and interpret data
