My client are looking for a Graduate Production Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the manufacturing and design process of bespoke electrical accessories and medical products. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your engineering career with hands-on involvement across design, production, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key duties as a Graduate Engineer:

Bespoke Product Engineering ("Specials")

Support the creation of 2D manufacturing drawings and specifications for bespoke electrical and medical products
Assist in translating customer requirements into accurate technical documentation

New Product Development & Introduction

Contribute to new product design projects with a focus on manufacturability
Assist in preparing production documentation including drawings, BOMs, and quality checks
Help set up new product data in the ERP system

Technical & Engineering Support

Provide technical input to sales and customer service teams
Work with suppliers (e.g. moulders and fabricators) to troubleshoot issues and suggest improvements

Essential Skills & Knowledge as a Graduate Engineer:

Degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Strong understanding of material properties
Proficiency in 2D CAD software (e.g AutoCAD)
Ability to present design concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem solving with a creative and innovative approach to design
