Job Description - Production Engineer

Are you a Production Engineer? Do you have experience in CAD? Are you confident working with multiple manufacturing streams including Anodising, Welding, Heat Treatment and Assembly?
If so, an opportunity has arisen with a Special Purpose Vehicle Manufacturer based in Kirkbymoorside is currently on the lookout for a Production Engineer on a permanent basis

8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday.

Production Engineer

Job Description:

Designing fixtures, sourcing tooling and producing stage drawings, SOP’s, Training manuals and operation procedures. Creating engineering documentation and BOM’s
Participating in feasibility reviews for new parts and determining manufacturing methods
Delivering technical training to production operators to develop their skills
Researching and developing new manufacturing methods/testing methods

Production Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Must have worked in a versatile manufacturing environment (anodising, heat treatment, welding, painting, machining, cutting, assembly)
Must be able to use CAD (AutoCAD/Draftsight and Solidworks – would consider other packaged)
Production/manufacturing engineering experience
