What will you be doing? Supporting the manufacture and introduction of electrical products Working closely with production teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes Reviewing engineering information to ensure products can be manufactured effectively Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and engineering changes Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation, drawings and Bills of Materials Identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and production processes Working with Design, Production, Purchasing and Quality teams to deliver projects successfully Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues across the business
Where will you be doing it? You'll be joining an established engineering business specialising in the design and manufacture of electrical control systems and bespoke panel solutions. The business continues to invest in its people, processes and manufacturing capability, offering an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to develop their career within a production-focused environment.
What will you need? Electrical engineering experience within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment Understanding of electrical drawings, schematics or control systems Experience with control panels, switchgear, automation or similar electrical systems would be beneficial A good understanding of manufacturing processes and how products move from design into production Ability to work with different teams including production, design and quality A proactive approach with good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
This role would suit someone from a Production Engineering, Electrical Design, Control Panel, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Technician or similar background looking to take the next step in their career.
