My client is looking to add a Production Engineer to their team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Production Engineering role, but still be at a point in their career where they are looking to grow and develop their skills.

Description

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee and improve production processes in the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
• Develop and implement process strategies to enhance quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure that product specifications are met.
• Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives for change.
• Manage resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Document all processes for future reference and continuous improvement.

Profile

A successful Production Engineer should have:

• An academic background in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Production Engineering or CI focused role.
• Experience using 3D CAD.
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management abilities.
• A knack for identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Any knowledge of digitisation or automation is an advantage.
