Production Line Leader

We are seeking an experienced Production Line Leader to oversee our production processes at our food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a background in food production and be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

• Run the production line and manage teams, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to production schedules.
• Open the factory early in the morning and prepare for daily production.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the work area, adhering to the company's policies on hygiene, food safety, and quality.
• Monitor the condition of equipment and ingredients, reporting any faults that could impact factory functions to the Production Manager.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality by monitoring Critical and Quality Control Points during the process.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time.
• Support and cover for other team members in their absence to ensure continuous production.
• Participate in training and take responsibility for personal learning and development.
• Achieve targets set by the Production Manager regarding efficiency, yield, and waste.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

• Previous experience in a food production manufacturing facility, especially with potato crisps.
• Ability to manage teams and run production lines effectively.
• Strong commitment to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with different departments.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to undergo training and adapt to new roles within the factory.
