Production Line Operative

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Line operative on behalf of our client in Halstead, on a temporary to perm basis.

The successful candidate will be working within a busy production environment, carrying out general production line and food handling duties. This is a non-heavy lifting role, making it suitable for candidates who are comfortable working at a steady pace and following food hygiene and quality control procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Working on a busy production line

* Handling consumable food products

* Carrying out general food handling duties

* Quality checking products throughout the production process

* Ensuring products meet the required quality standards

* Packing and preparing products ready for dispatch

* Keeping the production and work areas clean and tidy

* Following health, safety and food hygiene procedures

* Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

* Completing any other general production duties as required

Experience:

* Previous production, warehouse, food production or manufacturing experience would be advantageous but is not essential

* Good attention to detail

* Able to work at a consistent pace

* Reliable and punctual

* Comfortable working within a production line environment

* Good understanding of workplace health and safety

* Food handling experience would be beneficial

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6am until 2pm.
