Our client, a leading partner for contract packing services in the UK, is looking to expand their team with dedicated and motivated Production Line Team Leader at their Loughborough location.
The Team Leader is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership, support and guidance to colleagues, helping to ensure that the team operates effectively and in line with company standards. The postholder will lead by example, support team performance and promote a positive working environment. The role will work closely with the Head of Contract Packing and other colleagues to support the effective operation of the business.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM
30-minute unpaid break
Pay Rates:
TBC
Paid holiday on your birthday after completing 12 weeks of continuous employment
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Support
Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to colleagues. Lead by example and promote a positive and professional working environment. Support the training, development and performance of team members. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management. Identify and escalate issues to the appropriate manager.Operational Support
Support the effective day-to-day operation of the team. Help ensure company standards, procedures and expectations are maintained. Support the team in achieving agreed objectives and priorities. Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and team performance.Health, Safety & Compliance
Promote safe working practices and ensure company procedures are followed. Report and escalate any health, safety or compliance concerns. Support the maintenance of required company standards and accreditations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
(Essential)
Experience working within a team or operational environment. Good communication and organisational skills. Ability to support and motivate others. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar role.Desirable - Experience within a logistics, production, contract packing or similar environment
