Production Machine Operator

Pertemps Daventry are currently recruiting for a Production Machine Operative on behalf of our established client,based in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business on a permanent basis.

Location: Daventry
Salary: £26,609.99 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week

* Monday to Thursday: 08:30am - 5:00pm

* Friday: 08:30am - 4:00pm

The Role:

As a Production Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, assembling abrasive products, and ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities

* Setting up, calibrating and operating production machinery

* Cutting, slitting, pressing and assembling products

* Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required

* Carrying out quality inspections and completing production records

* Performing routine machine maintenance and cleaning

* Packing finished products ready for dispatch

* Following all health and safety procedures

* Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

* Good literacy and numeracy skills

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to follow technical instructions and production documentation

* Good communication and teamwork skills

* Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience would be advantageous

* Basic mechanical aptitude is desirable.
