Production Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for other managers and extended team’s adherence to all processes,

including contributing to the development and implementation of new processes and to the continual improvement of existing processes.

Delivery of revenue, reduction of backlog and On Time Delivery of all products shipped

Train and facilitate the training of team members to defined standard process

Responsible for performance management and development of team.

Use Daily Management process to manage team performance, drive improvement, focus and prioritize production support activities.

Attend required meetings, 1:1 reviews, and Performance Appraisal reviews.

Participate/lead in continuous improvement events

Participate in Daily Management meetings

Provide immediate supervision to Production Team Leaders (x2) and the Technician Supervisor.

Acts as the 1:1 Manager for approximately 40 production staff (Assembly Operators & Technicians)

Respond appropriately to team conflict/disagreements

Coach subordinate managers to ensure consistent management/communication to the entire production team.

Experience from within a similar role within an engineering business is hugely advantageous for this position.
