Production Manager

Manage production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Ensure stock levels and raw materials meet daily operational demands.

Deliver high-quality output efficiently, with a focus on minimizing waste.

Maintain product standards in line with customer and company requirements.

Oversee CNC machinery and machining operations to meet production targets.

Support tooling, programming, and setup of CNC machines (e.g. lathes, milling).

Monitor CNC performance, carry out first-line troubleshooting, and minimise downtime.

Integrate CNC output into the broader production process efficiently.

Manage internal and external material reprocessing through granulation lines.

Maintain equipment uptime and ensure regrind materials meet extrusion quality.

Ensure environmental and safety compliance in granulation operations.

Lead internal audits, manage documentation, and implement corrective actions.

Maintain hygiene, safety, and quality standards across the facility.

Supervise and support a diverse production team, including CNC operators.

Handle staff allocation, training, appraisals, and development plans.

Maintain a positive, safe, and productive workplace culture.

Recruit, onboard, and train new team members to meet operational needs.

Maintain accurate production and waste records.

Ensure machinery, including CNC systems, are maintained and compliant.

Monitor legal compliance, including Health & Safety and employment regulations.

Identify areas for efficiency gains and implement improvement initiatives.

Keep up to date with industry trends and technological advancements.

Champion a proactive and solution-oriented work environment.

Proven CNC operations experience, including machine setup and troubleshooting.

Experience managing teams in a production or engineering setting.

Working knowledge of production planning tools and Microsoft Office/ERP systems.

Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices.
