  • This is an office first job, so most of your time will be spent on site working from the trading floor

What you'll do

You’re joining a team that’s passionate about the customer vision and delivering a seamless customer experience. Aligned to Customer, Trading and Operations Technology goals, you’ll be working with your colleagues to deliver the technology strategic roadmap, while ensuring the right balance between our business goals and building future technology, at the right cost.

As a Production Manager, you’ll contribute to the delivery of a robust production management, infrastructure and application support service for relevant platforms, activities and processes across your domain. You'll also manage in-bound work requests and ensure both efficient and effective prioritisation and scheduling of work across the domain, using transparency and fast feedback loops to identify scheduling problems or other issues.

Along with managing relationships with platform, domain and relevant cross-domain stakeholders, you'll consistently be looking for potential improvements of existing processes and procedures across production management disciplines. As such, you'll establish an environment of continual learning and feedback.

You'll also be:

  • Supporting Front Office (FO) users in treasury trading, risk, and collateral across TMS, Murex, and Money Market Dashboard applications
  • Working with leads and managers to prioritise user queries, ensuring that timely updates are provided to stakeholders
  • Identifying and capturing risks and issues relevant to the production environment, engaging and coordinating with vendor partners and other technical teams to identify potential solutions and enable resolution
  • Identifying Automation opportunities to deliver as Service Improvement initiatives
  • Making sure that applications and infrastructure are fully compliant to mandated standards by adhering to processes and security compliance
  • Ensuring resilient and robust applications and infrastructure recovery plans to meet the business recovery requirements
  • Making sure that controls are applied and constantly reviewed, primarily against SOX, to ensure full compliance to all policies and regulatory obligations

The skills you'll need

Your technical knowledge and experience will cover platforms, technology, products and domains, and you'll have experience of relevant industry standard toolsets and processes to drive up customer service within an IT environment. Alongside this you’ll have recent front office stakeholder management experience with a track record of providing timely support for front office support teams.

You'll also demonstrate:

  • Excellent Murex knowledge in front office and risk collateral modules V48 and above
  • Hands on experience in UNIX scripting, SQL, Python alongside a solid understanding of the Murex technical stack and Front-to-Back (F2B) processes
  • Hands on experience with ServiceNow management tools, alongside solid familiarity with ITIL disciplines such as Incident, Change and Problem Management
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to your stakeholders and management level colleagues
  • Knowledge and experience of using operational principles
  • Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • A solid background working in an Agile or DevOps environment with continuous delivery and continuous integration
