Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Production Manager - Bespoke Joinery / Hardwood Flooring will involve:

• Production Manager position that will focus on a high end manufactured range of hard wood flooring such as: parquetry, marquetry, antique and boarded floors
• Manage and oversee the production personnel to achieve maximum production efficiency (team of 10)
• Ensure all work is carried out to required quality standards and within deadlines
• Ensure that all regulations, policies and health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times
• Maintaining timber inventory levels and other required stock
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other departments to ensure effective communication and service delivery
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues or escalate complex problems as needed
• Identify areas of the production line that need improving to increase productivity
• Provide regular feedback to the workforce around performance

The ideal applicant will be Production Manager - Bespoke Joinery / Hardwood Flooring with:

• Must have experience working in a similar production / workshop environment dealing with timber engineering, wooden flooring, bespoke joinery, or furniture
• Excellent management and leadership skills
• Sound technical understanding of the machinery used (sanders, laser cutters, cross cut saws etc)
• High levels of attention to detail and organisation
• Ideally will have experience on the tools and worked up to supervisor / manager level
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ideally familiar with Lean or Six Sigma principles
• Proficiency with workshop management software and Microsoft Office tools
