Opportunity for an experienced Production Manager based in Essex to join a business as they grow their operation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join a Food Manufacturing business as they grow their operation. As Production Manager you will report directly into the Operations Director where you’ll lead operations and focus on efficiency, quality, and scalability of production. You’ll ensure that daily workloads and KPIs are achieved through continuous improvement, that food safety protocols are followed whilst managing the team and working closely with internal stakeholders. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be an influential leader and be willing to get stuck in! You’ll be part of the driving force in embedding a healthy, happy culture across site, offering coaching and mentorship to the team where required. Continuous Improvement is a core focus for this business as they grow their operation and you will play a pivotal role in implementing a CI culture within the team. Our client is looking for an individual who has strong work ethics, and someone who can sustain a good culture ensuring correct behaviours and standards. This role will suit a Production Manager, Shift Manager, Operations Manager or Manufacturing Manager who is either based in Essex or able to relocate and has worked within the FMCG, Food, or Packaging industry. To be considered for this role you will need to be competent to “hit the ground running” with relevant Leadership, HSE management, HACCP, Quality Systems skills, experience, knowledge and prepared to work 5 out of 7 days, (including a Saturday).
