Production MIG Welder

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled welder with previous production welding and jig experience to work within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out high-volume MIG welding on mild steel components.

* Weld parts accurately using jigs and fixtures to meet production targets.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

* Perform visual inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance with specifications.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

* Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines.

* Report any quality or equipment issues promptly.

Requirements

* Previous experience in production MIG welding.

* Experience using welding jigs and fixtures is essential.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

* Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player.

Desirable

* Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

* Fabrication experience (advantageous but not essential).

* Relevant welding qualifications.
