Job Description - Production Operations Manager

Our Client:
Our client are a well-established industrial manufacturer with a production facility based here in the North East. I am delighted to be supporting them in their search for a Production Operations Manager to join the Site Leadership team.

The Role:
In the role of Production Manager you will have full responsibility across the main processing plant, as well as the warehousing and logistics operations.
About you:

You will be a strong and experienced Production Leader with knowledge of wider operational functions, able to drive strategy and good practice. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Extensive experience in production and team leadership roles, preferably within a regulated manufacturing industry such as Chemical or Pharmaceutical
  • Knowledge of Comah regulations would be an advantage but is not a requirement
  • Knowledgeable in HSE, with a focus on developing safety practices and culture
  • Proactive in approach to efficiencies and problem-solving
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • A strong focus on service delivery and driving continuous improvements
