Food Preparation Specialist

Annual Salary: £26,276.25
Location: Cramlington
Job Type: Full-time

Day-to-day of the role:

Produce pre-prepared food products, both manually and using machinery, to exact specifications and within set deadlines.
Weigh, label, and stack products efficiently.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness for the workplace and machinery.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), and Food Hygiene regulations, including allergen controls.
Collaborate effectively with team members to create a positive workplace.
Offer help to colleagues and seek assistance when needed.
Learn about our products thoroughly to enhance quality control.
Ensure personal and team safety at all times.
Be a reliable and supportive team member, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments.
Superior knife skills and proficiency in using, stripping, and cleaning machinery.
Ability to work in a chilled environment and manage physical tasks, including lifting up to 25KG.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Ability to work flexibly and meet tight deadlines.
Good sense of humour and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
