Production Operative

Please note:

Training MUST be completed on the early shift before moving onto the late shift.

Early Shift:

• Monday to Thursday: 7am to 4pm
• Friday: 7am to 1pm

Late Shift:

• 2pm to 10pm

Role Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and motivated Production Operative / Machine Operator to join our production and warehouse team. The ideal candidate will support a range of operational duties across the production floor, including machine operation, material handling, and basic sewing if required. Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred, but full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manufacturing machinery and production equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Handle materials and products within the warehouse, including loading/unloading and stock rotation
• Follow production plans, quality standards, and work instructions
• Assist with general warehouse duties including packing, labelling, and dispatch preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the production area
• Support basic sewing operations when required (experience preferred, but not essential)
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment preferred
• Basic knowledge of operating machinery and tools
• Sewing machinist experience is a strong advantage
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Willingness to complete training on early shift and transition to late shift permanently
