Production Operative

About the Role:

M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Machine Operative to join a well-established packaging company based in Cricklade. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful qualifying period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery effectively and safely
• Feed raw materials into the machines according to production schedules
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards
• Package completed products into boxes ready for dispatch
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area, ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed
• Report any machine faults or quality issues to the supervisor promptly

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or packaging environment is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects in products
• Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must have access to own transport due to the location of the site in Cricklade

Working hours are Monday to Friday 0700am - 1500pm
