Production Operative

We are looking for Production Operatives to join our growing team in Kirkham, on a Two-Shift Rotation (06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00). Competitive rate of pay, with overtime paid at time and a half and Sundays paid at double rate.

Our Production Operatives work on fast paced automated lines, making products to the speed of the conveyor, and also complete hygiene duties. It is important for our employees to align with Kepak’s 4 Core Values. This role involves:

Responsibility:

·       Working as a team to follow the daily production plan and hygiene schedule.

·       Cleaning the production lines using chemicals in line with food safety regulations.

·       Following all health and safety procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safe work practises.

Ambition:

·       Participating actively in training, asking questions and ensuring full understanding of responsibilities, equipment and procedures.

Passion for Food:

·       Reporting any quality, hygiene or other issues to an Area Leader promptly to minimise downtime and uphold quality standards.

Teamwork:

·       Working effectively as part of a production team to ensure optimum results.

·       Reporting any breakages, damages or near-misses to your Area Leader, to foster a safe working environment for everybody.
