Production Operative

Blueprint Subsea is continuing to grow, and we are looking to recruit Production Operatives to join our team. If you have demonstrable practical skills, an enquiring mind and a desire to learn and develop then we want to hear from you. Some experience in electro-mechanical or manufacturing assembly would be a bonus but is not essential.

Blueprint Subsea is an innovative company of designers, engineers and manufacturers of underwater acoustic sensors. We provide international subsea, offshore and defence markets, with a diverse product portfolio of acoustic imaging, positioning and navigation solutions.

As an essential, the successful candidate should…

• Be highly motivated to work within a small team.


• Be highly dexterous with good hand-eye coordination.


• Be able to follow detailed assembly procedures to consistently meet quality standards.


• Be capable of working independently with good resource and time management skills.


• Be able to use initiative to prioritise and work efficiently.
  
  

Desirably, the candidate may….

• Have soldering and assembly skills.


• Have experience of working with a range of hand tools.
  


• Have previously worked within a production engineering environment.
  

Key responsibilities will include….

• A range of assembly tasks, both electronic and mechanical.


• Hand soldering of electronic components.


• Assembly of wiring looms and connectors.


• Test procedures and verification activities.


• Commitment to providing high quality products for our customers.
