Role Overview We are looking for a motivated Production Operative to support the manufacturing process at our facility in Abingdon. This role focuses on sub-assemblies as part of a production team, where you’ll contribute to maintaining high standards and meeting ambitious production goals. Key Responsibilities In this role, you’ll take on duties such as:
Assisting with the manufacture, testing, and inspection of product sub-assemblies. Completing assembly tasks while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Following production schedules to meet deadlines efficiently. Keeping workspaces clean, organised, and safe. Adhering to health and safety regulations and other internal procedures. Providing support in other manufacturing areas when required.Qualifications An ideal candidate will have:
A basic understanding of workshop tools, both power and manual. General education to a good standard. The ability (or willingness to learn) to read drawings and follow work instructions.Personal Attributes To thrive in this position, you should be:
