We are recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly respected Coventry-based business looking for an experienced Production Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join their growing operation.

The Role

You will play a key role in the day-to-day success of the production area, ensuring workloads are organised efficiently and priorities are effectively managed.

Responsibilities include:

Working with and supporting a small production team
Assessing daily production requirements and prioritising workloads
Promoting safe and efficient working practices
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
Moving and handling materials throughout the production area
Assisting with production activities as required
Maintaining high standards of quality and productivity

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A valid, accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing
Strong organisational and communication skills
The ability to support colleagues
A proactive and hands-on approach to work
Good levels of physical fitness, as manual handling of heavy products will be required
