Salary: £12.21 per hour

Location: Eastfield, Glasgow, G72 area

Hours: 37 per week; Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm & Friday 8am – 1pm

Start Date: ASAP

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Syntech Recruitment are proud to partner with a high precision component manufacturer who produce complex parts for a variety of regulated industries. We are searching for multiple production operatives to join their team based near Eastfield, Glasgow G72 area.

Full training provided, anyone with a background in engineering or manufacturing would be ideal.

Production Operative Responsibilities: On the job training

• Produce components in line with production schedules, meeting agreed delivery targets while maintaining cost-efficiency.
• Complete job cards accurately, recording all relevant process details for traceability and quality assurance.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, performing basic housekeeping and adhering to 5S principles at all times.
• Report equipment faults promptly to the maintenance team to minimise downtime.
• Record and manage work-related data, ensuring accurate documentation across all stages of production.
• Pack finished goods securely, using appropriate protective materials to ensure product integrity during transit.
• Support colleagues, including mentoring new team members as part of onboarding and team development.

Production Operative Requirements:

• Demonstrable examples of dexterity
• Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components (desirable)
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S
