Production Operative

Location: Kegworth, Derby

Pay Rate: £14.61 per hour basic | £19.92 per hour overtime

Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off – must be able to work both days and night

Shift Times:

* Days: 6:00am – 6:00pm

* Nights: 6:00pm – 6:00am

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Kegworth, Derby.

Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential for this position.

As a Production Operative, your duties will include:

* Operating standard production machinery safely and efficiently

* Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

* Recording quality checks and reporting any issues

* Packing, labelling, and preparing finished goods for dispatch

* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

* Following health & safety procedures at all times

* Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

* Following instructions and maintaining high standards throughout the production process

Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

* Have previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience

* Be able to work 12-hour shifts on a 3 on / 3 off rotation

* Be flexible and comfortable working both days and nights

* Have good attention to detail and be able to work at pace

* Be reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions

* Be comfortable standing for long periods

* Have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively as part of a team
