Production Operator

Salary: £30,000 (rising to £33,000 after probation)
Shift Pattern: 4 on Days / 4 off / 4 on Nights
Benefits: 20 days holiday, Cycle to Work Scheme, Overtime Available

Are you looking to build your career in manufacturing and join a growing, well-established business? We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Production Operator to support a busy production team in Wrexham.

This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within the production environment, with a clear path to becoming a Shift Operator and beyond.

• Operate and support plant and machinery across the factory.

• Assist with maintaining machinery efficiency and production continuity.

• Clean down production machinery and ensure hygiene standards are upheld.

• Avoid cross-contamination through attention to process and manual controls.

• Help with stocktaking and identify any faults or defects.

• Operate the site weighbridge.

• Assist with light maintenance tasks and factory upkeep.

• Occasionally transport goods between sites (company vehicle provided when required).

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• A practical, hands-on attitude with an interest in mechanical processes.

• A Full UK Driving Licence.

• Good communication and teamworking skills.

• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).

• An understanding of weighing, lifting or process control environments (a plus).
