Production Planner

Production Planner | £28,000 - £32,000 | Wellingborough, 2 days per week

This is a business on the cusp of something truly inspiring. For decades they have been a successful, family-run food production business with a steady & loyal customer base. But due to a breakthrough in product development, they have engineered a new product category which has the potential to take the market by storm!!

If they are going be successful in this transformation, they will need to bring in some excellent candidates to aid in the journey. That process has already started and lots of very impressive candidates have joined and began to add value.

This role is pivotal for the business. Production Planning. They are a production business, after all! Your role will involve 80% production planning & 20% demand planning. You will need production planning experience to be successful, however the demand planning side of things can be taught. They've hired a top-tier Supply Chain Manager with an extensive background in demand planning, which definitely helps.

Your role will be office hours, Monday to Friday, with only 2 days on-site work required. 3 days a week can be worked from home. However, you will need to live reasonably close to Wellingborough in case you need to pop in.

System experience isn't too important, as they are hoping to change EPR systems soon. But experience with ERP systems in general would be good. Plus EXCELLENT excel skills.

What will you need?

• FMCG Production Planning Experience - essential
• Versatile nature, this is a rapidly growing business so processes may change frequently and you'll need to keep up
• Autonomous personality, it's a relatively small department so you'll need to work on your own initiative as much as possible
• Strong excel skills
