Description

The Production Planner will be responsible for;

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure timely assembly and delivery of products.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure availability of materials required for production.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stakeholders to address supply chain challenges.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall production efficiency.
• Generate and analyse reports to track progress against production targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
• Act as a point of contact between production teams and management to facilitate effective communication.
• Address and resolve any issues that may impact production timelines or quality.

Profile

A successful Production Planner should have:

• Experience in production planning or supply chain management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
• Proficiency in using planning software or ERP systems.
• An understanding of inventory management practices and principles.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Job Offer

The Production planner will recieve;

• Competitive salary in the range of £36,000 to £40,000 per annum.
• Generous holiday allowance of 27 days per year.
