Production Planner

A dynamic and growing company based in Borough Green is seeking a highly organised and self-motivated Production Planner to join its operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and managing inventory, supporting production operations, and maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. The position requires excellent data handling, stock management expertise, and the ability to maintain operational efficiency through structured processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full stock lifecycle from goods-in to dispatch
• Create and manage purchase orders and stock records using internal systems
• Forecast and plan parts requirements based on demand
• Extract and manipulate system data for daily and periodic reports
• Publish work-in-progress (WIP) reports
• Provide regular KPI updates to internal stakeholders and customers
• Act as the main point of contact between customers and the production team
• Coordinate priorities and internal workflows with management
• Perform final goods checks before dispatch
• Assist with stock movements and periodic stock checks
• Provide administrative support to the logistics function

The ideal candidate will either possess similar experience as above or be working in an admin role and wanting to move into a wider organisational operations position. Some project experience would be beneficial.
