Production Planner

Production Planner – Rotherham - £30,000 - £35,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to working exclusively with an established manufacturer in Rotherham who are looking to recruit a Production Planner to join their team.

This newly created role will be key in managing the scheduling and timelines of the production process for the business.

Production Planner Duties:

• Ensuring the company meets all deadlines
• Managing material and equipment availability
• Scheduling production
• Monitoring the production process for problems
• Developing daily or weekly production schedules
• Determining material, equipment, and labour requirements
• Maintaining standards/costs for assembly builds
• Processing and recording all production activity
• Preparing status and performance reports
• Resolving production issues
• Monitoring and processing customer return.
• Scheduling maintenance of equipment and downtime
• Scheduling of contractors and servicing of equipment
• Ensuring Health and Safety checks are carried out and recorded

Hours: 40hrs per week. (either 6:30am-3pm or 7:30am-4pm)

Required skills & experience:

• Previous production planning experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Previous experience in manufacturing
