Job Description - Production Planner

Owen Daniels have partnered with Stuart Turner to support them in finding a Production Planner for their growing team on their Henley-on-Thames site. Stuart Turner specialises in designing, manufacturing, and supplying high-quality pump and water-boosting systems to the domestic, commercial and Industrial sectors. They offer a wide range of solutions—from domestic shower pumps to large-scale cold-water booster sets and bespoke pressurisation units for commercial and industrial projects.

The production planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating production activities to meet customer demands and stock requirements. This will include production planning, capacity planning and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the operations department.

Production Planner
Job Description

Managing the Master Production Schedule.
Raising and issuing work orders along with relevant production documentation.
Identifying and reporting material shortages and constraints.
Performing general administrative tasks related to production planning.
Collaborating with managers, team leaders, and staff to identify and align production needs.
Processing and evaluating customer sales requests.
Monitoring and maintaining operational performance KPIS.
Managing and updating the shop floor loading report.
Implementing Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) in a timely manner.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Carrying out any other duties reasonably assigned by the Operations Manager.

Proven experience working in a production planning role
Experience working within the manufacturing/production industry
