Production Planner

Food manufacturer requires a Production Planner. Applicants should have production planning or related experience such as; materials planning, supply chain coordination, purchasing or logistics.

The Production Planner will join a successful and supportive team, who are looking for someone to inject enthusiasm and energy into their business. The Production Planner will be responsible for production scheduling, supply planning and supplier relationship management.

Specific duties of the Production Planner include:

• Communication of production schedules to supply chain to facilitate material supply
• Generating production schedules and works orders to production lines
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve customer OTIF targets
• Demand forecasting activities

Production Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Experience in, or knowledge of the food industry is advantageous.
• Experience of production planning, supply chain planning or purchasing
• Knowledge of planning tools and software such as MRP,ERP
• Excellent team player and communicator
• Happy being site based in Yeovil 5 days p/week
