Production Planner

Unique opportunity to join a dynamic team at a cutting-edge Ag-tech startup in Cambridge and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality products on schedule. The business is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Production Planner to support their manufacturing and supply chain operations.
As a Production Planner, you'll be responsible for balancing cost, risk, and production priorities to ensure seamless material flow and timely deliveries. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, contract manufacturers, and operations, to drive smooth transitions from prototype to full-scale production. With your expertise in MRP/ERP systems, data analysis, and problem-solving, you'll optimise planning and scheduling, reduce waste, and enhance supply chain responsiveness.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain management, preferably in electronics manufacturing
• Solid knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with data analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and waste reduction strategies
• Certification in supply chain management or a related field
