1. Production Co-ordination

Activities:

• Liaise with Team Leaders and cross-functional teams to meet daily production and servicing needs

• Participate in daily operations meetings and present performance metrics

• Ensure clear communication between production and logistics

Results/KPI’s:

• High production service levels

• Timely, accurate reporting

• Strong collaboration across operational teams

2. Production Planning & Scheduling

Activities:

• Prioritise and schedule production orders based on demand, materials, and capacity

• Verify, release, and close production orders accurately in SAP

• Maintain up-to-date production documentation and follow internal procedures

Results/KPI’s:

• Optimised production schedules

• On-time, complete production orders

• Accurate and compliant records

3. Problem Resolution & Communication

Activities:

• Proactively identify and resolve production delays or bottlenecks

• Provide timely updates on delivery timelines and quality issues

• Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to reduce risk

Results/KPI’s:

• Quick resolution of production issues

• Reduced downtime and reliable deliveries

• Strong stakeholder confidence and transparency

4. Data Analysis & Reporting

Activities:

• Analyse production performance, capacity utilisation, and team efficiency

• Prepare clear, data-driven reports to support decision-making

• Support continuous improvement initiatives through trend analysis

Results/KPI’s:

• Accurate, actionable performance insights

• Data-driven decisions

5. Cross-Functional Coverage

Activities:

• Provide cover for other Operations and Logistics roles as required

Results/KPI’s:

• Flexibility and willingness to support the wider team

• High levels of collaboration across functions

Experience & Skills

• Secondary education with strong numeracy and computer skills

• Experience in manufacturing or production planning preferred

• Detail-focused, reliable, and able to work under pressure

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

• SAP experience or training preferred
