A global manufacturing leader is seeking a Production Quality Engineer to join its quality team, to investigate manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventative actions.

Responsibilities of the Production Quality Engineer:
Lead root cause analysis of manufacturing defects, customer complaints, and process deviations using structured methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, or similar Drive and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), ensuring effective implementation and verification Analyse production and quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving sessions and support continuous improvement initiatives Deliver scrap reduction and re-engineering projects, with ongoing focus on:
Completing non-conformance documentation and reporting findings to the Quality Manager Planning and tracking activities to ensure progress can be effectively monitored and presented The Candidate:
The successful Production Quality Engineer will have the following skills and abilities:
Proven experience in a quality or engineering role, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment or complex batch-processing setting Strong structured problem-solving abilities, with hands-on experience using tools such as 8D, Fishbone (Ishikawa), 5 Whys, Fault Tree Analysis, and statistical analysis Ability to interpret manufacturing data and convert insights into practical, actionable improvements Demonstrated experience working effectively within a team environment Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint The Client
