Production Scheduler

Location: Hailsham, East Sussex, UK
Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Scheduler to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.
This role will involve coordinating production schedules, managing order visibility, supporting on-time delivery performance, and working closely with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure production targets and customer deadlines are achieved.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual who enjoys working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong planning, communication, and analytical skills.
Working Hours
* Full-time permanent position
* Flexible shifts within opening hours Monday to Thursday
* Early finish on Fridays
* No weekend work
Qualifications
* Degree educated or qualified by experience
Essential Requirements
Candidates will only be considered if they meet all essential requirements below:
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Strong analytical and numeracy skills
* Good systems knowledge with strong Excel skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
* Experience coordinating workloads, schedules, or production activities
* Ability to build strong working relationships across multiple departments
Desirable Requirements
* ERP planning experience
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX
* Previous experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment
* Previous production planning or scheduling experience
