We're recruiting on behalf of a successful, growing UK manufacturer that is investing heavily in its people, technology and production capability. Operating a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing facility, our client is looking for experienced Production Shift Leaders to lead, motivate and develop production teams while delivering outstanding operational performance.

The Role
As a Production Shift Leader, you'll take ownership of your shift, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll lead from the front, creating a positive working environment while driving productivity, engagement and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop a team of production operatives. Deliver daily production plans while maintaining quality, safety and efficiency. Monitor KPIs including output, downtime, waste and labour utilisation. Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times. Investigate production issues and implement effective solutions. Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and Planning teams to maximise performance. Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation. Complete accurate production reporting and ensure effective shift handovers.About You
We're looking for an experienced manufacturing leader who can inspire teams and consistently deliver results.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience as a Shift Leader, Team Leader, Supervisor or similar within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and people management skills. Experience managing KPIs and delivering against production targets. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A strong commitment to quality, health & safety and operational excellence.Experience from sectors such as glass manufacturing, building products, automotive, engineering, FMCG, packaging or other high-volume production environments would be highly advantageous.
