Production Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Production Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be someone who can take charge, step up when needed, and be hands-on in their approach. This role requires a strong leader who can make the position their own and drive the production processes forward.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Lead and motivate the production team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Participate in production activities and be willing to get hands-on when necessary to meet customer orders.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely ordering and availability of materials.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols in a dusty environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
• Ensure and maintain that cleanliness is kept up where necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to participate in production activities.
• Ability to work in a dusty environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to make the role their own and drive continuous improvement.
• Forklift licence desirable, however company will put through in-house if needed.
