Hours (Monday - Friday: 8.00AM - 14.00PM)

Annual Salary (between £35,000 and £40,000 DOE)

Day to Day Duties

As a Production Supervisor your duties will include:

• Supervise your Production team, ensuring that day-to-day responsibilities are completed in a timely manner and in line with performance targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People.
• Supervise the development of your Production team to strengthen and enhance our Production capabilities and flexibility.
• Supervise the attendance performance of the Production team members, utilising the company Absence Management procedures as necessary.
• Ensure the adherence to company quality standards and procedures, confirming production output to relevant specifications as required.
• Ensure the strict adherence to Standard Operating Instructions for all production activities, particularly in relation to Health & Safety and Quality.
• Supervise the execution of all Production plans, ensuring that work sequences and schedules are adhered to.
• Identify and address production issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions with urgency to maintain production performance.
• Support the introduction of new products and processes from a Production perspective.

Essential Skills

As a Production Supervisor it is essential that you:

• Significant Production and Operations management experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Significant experience in the utilisation of ERP systems, preferably IFS.
• Detailed knowledge of Production and Operations management methodologies.
• Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

As a Production Supervisor it would be desirable that you:

• Experienced leader and manager of a team
• Good mentoring skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Completer/Finisher mindset
• Methodical and organised
• Open to change
• Experience with LEAN methodologies
