Production Supervisor

This position requires a skilled Production Supervisor who is adept at overseeing industrial and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are manufactured to a high standard in a cost-efficient manner

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe working practices are maintained and SOP's adhered to
• Responsible for managing and developing shift operators
• Perform daily pre-start shift safety toolbox talks for all employees in the production team
• Understand fully the KPI's which drive business critical performance metrics
• Partake in all meetings with respect for others and encourage input from all
• Question the status quo and look for improvements in day to day operations
• Manage data collection and ensure all data is current, accurate and constantly being monitored
• Regular performance reviews with production staff
• Ensure compliance to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001
• Lead the shift 5S program to improve plant organisation
• Responsible for the control of holidays and absences
• Investigate using the company disciplinary procedures

Profile

A successful Production Supervisor should have:

* IOSH Managing safely qualified - NEBOSH preferred
* Experience in a supervisory role within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent knowledge of production processes and quality control standards.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Job Offer

Whats on offer:

£40,000 - £43,000 DOE

Double Days
Early shift 06:00 - 14:00
Late shift 14:00 - 22:00
